Institute of Industrial Training, Munchirai, Kanniyakumari District, Tamilnadu was established in 1979 and imparts training in various Trades under NCVT pattern. This Institute is affiliated and recognised by both Central and State governments and it avails the facility to improve the skill of youth through co-education stream.

In every year, through hard work 90% of our Trainees are passing and most of them got placement in various organisations with good earnings.

Each Trainee should respect their superiors, maintain self discipline and behaviour as their goal.  Those who not follows the rules and regulations of our Institute such as shortage in attendance, late comers, not interested in studies, unnecessary argument, protesting mentality are not eligible to continue their studies.

To uplift the training standard, technical faculty from industries and engineering colleges visit our institution frequently and deliver good messages to obtain extra knowledge regarding modern events in automobile and electrical field.

For smooth and healthy functioning of the institute Institute Management Committee (IMC) is constituted with the head of an Industry as Chairman associated with Principal and representative of staff, student, parent as members. The committee assembling in every four months to analyse the current events and guides to function the institution in good manner.
